Our Favorite Moments From #AdobeMAX

The largest creativity conference in the world, Adobe MAX is never short on inspiration and learning for the creative software we use everyday. Our team has been fortunate to travel to Los Angeles to attend pre-pandemic in 2019 and again in 2022.

Fortunately for a lot of our friends (and our team this year), many aspects of Adobe MAX are also virtual (and free)!

If you’re new to MAX, or even Adobe Creative apps, the Opening Keynote is a great place to start. It’s a bit of a State of the Union from Adobe leadership, sharing some highlights of the work done over the past year before passing the baton to the creative teams for a sneak peek of what’s coming!

Aaron Draplin and Amanda Mazzo in the LA Convention Center for #AdobeMAX 2022

We were delighted to see one of our favorite speakers (and one of Amanda’s favorite graphic designer), Aaron Draplin take the main stage for an Inspiration Keynote. Draplin’s talk is first, but don’t miss the other three that follow:

  • Karen X Cheng on pursuing art over algorithm

  • Walker Noble on having confidence in this business of art

  • Oak Felder on the true meaning (and benefits!) of songwriting – grab a tissue for this!

Outside the wild haul of swag, all the friends we make along the way, learning from industry giants in hands-on labs, and celebrating everything at MAX BASH, our next favorite part is always MAX Sneaks! This is a night where Adobe engineers, who spend most of their days behind computers, come out on stage in front of thousands of people to present their innovative ideas that might just impact our future workflows. (For fellow Modern Family and Pitch Perfect fans, year’s Sneaks program was hosted by Adam DeVine!)
